Every year, Wonderland Homes is honored to help support HomeAid Colorado in the Builders For Babies Diaper Drive by collecting diapers for families in need.
In normal times, one in three families across Colorado has limited access to clean diapers. As our economy rebounds from the international health crisis, many parents are faced with the difficult decision between buying groceries or clean diapers.
HomeAid Colorado believes that all babies deserve clean diapers, and this year's Builders For Babies Diaper Drive is more important than ever before.
With the remarkable outpouring of supporters like you, HomeAid Colorado was able to distribute over 1.1 million diapers to 30 care providers on the front lines of support from Ft. Collins to Telluride in 2020. With your help now, we can make an even greater state-wide impact in 2021! The overall goal for the HomeAid Colorado chapter in 2021 is 1.5 Million diapers!
How Can I Get Involved?
Wonderland Homes’ 2021 goal is to donate at least 40,000 diapers to the cause through the support of our families, friends, trade partners, and customers.
This year, HomeAid Colorado is once again partnering with ABBY & FINN, a Colorado-owned company. Abby & Finn makes the process entirely digital, which helps to simplify donating and distribution, and they will be matching 10% of all diaper donations.
The customized Wonderland/HomeAid Colorado landing page will allow you to associate Wonderland Homes with your purchase at checkout and will take care of making sure the most important sizes are included with your donation.
The Big Day!
On June 25th at a warehouse facility in Aurora, Colorado, all of the participating homebuilders, trade partners, construction, and real estate companies will be loading all of the diapers onto trucks for local care providers.
If COVID-19 restrictions are more alleviated around that time, we hope that a group of people from the Wonderland team will be able to make a day of it as we help to load and distribute the much-needed diapers.
